Brumby Street Hair specialises in the micro link application, a method that is becoming more and more popular these days due to the fact that there is no glue, no heat and no damage to the natural hair. They are very versatile and can be applied fast and removed easily. The application involves pulling a strand of the client’s hair through the micro link, placing the tip of a pre-bonded hair strand into the link against the client’s hair, and then clamping down on the link with a tool creating a secure hold. If applied cared for correctly with the proper tools they will last for a long period of time. The pre-bonded hair can be re-used without having to re-bond it because the bonds have not been melted or altered.

Hair itself is an outgrowth of protein, found only on mammals. The primary component of hair fibre is keratin. The average human has around 100,000 strands of hair on their head, each strand being able to support 100m grams, meaning that the extra weight provided by hair extensions will not affect the natural hair at all.

100% AA grade Human hair

The hair used and supplied is 100% AA grade Human Remy Hair. What this means to our client’s is that the cuticle of the hair runs correctly from top to bottom on each strand. This is done by ensuring that all the roots are at the top of the strand, and all points at the bottom, this will prevent matting and make a much shinnier more natural looking hair.

The hair that we use has a wider diameter, making it thicker, stronger and giving it more elasticity which is perfect for hair extensions. This means that the hair extensions can be washed, styled, coloured and blow dried more often and last longer than other types of hair without all the damages.
